A personal note from me
As the saying goes, ‘you only live once’ (YOLO) I have decided that I would rather get to a ripe old age and be
able to tell stories of adventure, courage and determination.
I certainly don’t want my life to be filled with regret because I’ve been too scared to try new things - do you?
I am the person who used to sit on the side of a swimming pool, wanting to play with the kids but was too worried about how I looked (it wasn’t only weight related, but more to do with what I looked like while doing the activity). I was too concerned about what other people might think of me or the fear of making a fool out of myself, to be able to go in. I was the person who had anxiety and struggled to make a phone call / reply to emails… meanwhile to the outside world everything looked ‘fine’.
Fast forward a few years and I was doing things that I had never thought possible, such as obstacle course racing, running marathons and swimming the Solent, all whilst creating and running my own business doing something that I loved.
The way I viewed life and my capabilities completely changed.
If you are not happy with life, you can change it. You can make it into what you want it to be. It wont be easy and it will take commitment and courage, but if I can do it so can you.
I suppose, in short, the reason I trained as a coach was to help people live their best life, so if this sounds like something you would be interested in, please get in touch.
Invest in a relationship with yourself
We all have a tendency to put others first, but in doing so, we can sometimes neglect our relationship with ourselves. I know it might sound corny, but its true.
Think about it.
When you meet a friend, you take time to get to know them, you show them that you genuinely care about them. You make time and treat them with kindness and respect.
Do you do that for yourself?
I would like to think you do, but chances are that you are your harshest critic, possibly even unkind. Can you honestly say that you show yourself the love and kindness that you show others?
I hope this is not you - and that you are completely happy with life.

Improve your life balance. Work on what you really want
Juggling the chores and stresses of life is tiring and it takes its toll, perhaps you are so focussed on doing the ‘every day’ stuff that you have started doubting your ability in things that you used to do without question.
Maybe you don’t recognise the person that you are any more and you are feeling a bit ‘lost’ in life.
